Milene Corso was born in Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brazil. She studied piano at The Rio Claro Conservatory, holds a degree in Architecture from University of São Paulo (USP), in Music (Voice) from University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and is a Dalcroze Certified Instructor from the New York Dalcroze School. As musical director and arranger for “Madrigal Cor Da Voz”, she led this outstanding vocal choir in promoting a series of special concerts featuring its one-of-a-kind performances in Brazil. In the US, Milene has studied vocal improvisation with ‘scat-master’ Bob Stoloff, and the Dalcroze Eurhythmics method at Longy School of Music, in Cambridge, MA, at the Dalcroze School at Lucy Moses (Kaufman Center) and at Diller-Quaile School of Music, in New York, NY. She was also a member of the Riverside Choral Society, in NYC and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center (Alice Tully Hall and Avery Fisher Hall) and other venues with this group.

Milene Corso nasceu em Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brasil. Estudou piano no Conservatório Musical “Rio Claro”, é Arquiteta pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Bacharel em Música (Voz) pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), SP, Brasil e Professora Certificada do Método Dalcroze pela Dalcroze School de Nova York, EUA. Como diretora musical e arranjadora para o “Madrigal Cor Da Voz”, ela levou este excepcional coral a promover uma série de concertos especiais apresentando suas performances únicas. Nos EUA, Milene estudou improvisação vocal com o mestre do “scat” Bob Stoloff e a metodologia Dalcroze na “Longy School of Music” (Cambridge, MA), na “Dalcroze School at Lucy Moses” (Kaufman Center) e na “Diller-Quaile School of Music”, em Nova York. Ela também integrou o “Riverside Choral Society”, em Nova York e se apresentou no Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center (Alice Tully Hall e Avery Fisher Hall) e outros lugares da cidade com o mesmo grupo.
